Qadence is a running app that matches music to your pace using Apple Music. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we handle it.
When you start a session, the app reads your device's motion sensors to detect your running cadence (steps per minute). Your cadence measurements are sent to our server so we can find music that matches your pace. We do not track your location.
If you choose to rate your run or leave a comment after a session, that feedback is sent to our server to help us improve the app.
We send your app version number with requests to our server. This helps us diagnose issues and ensure compatibility.
Your subscription status is managed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information. Your free run count is stored locally on your device in the iOS Keychain.
Your cadence data is used only to find tempo-matched music during your run. Your feedback is used only to improve the app. We do not sell, share, or use your data for advertising.
Cadence measurements and feedback are stored on our server. Local preferences and your run count are stored on your device.
Since we do not collect personal identifiers, the data on our server is not linked to you. If you want to reset your local data, uninstalling the app will remove local preferences. Run count stored in the Keychain may persist across reinstalls; you can reset it by contacting us.
